Three ideas we keep coming back to: a photograph that tells you which year you are looking at, a question that lands on the right reference page, and a value you could actually defend. None of them run. This page is where you can see what we would want them to be, and say whether we have it wrong.

Envisioned

  • A photograph read against the reference library, with its working shown.
  • A question routed to a page, not answered by a guess.
  • A value with its comparables attached, or no value at all.
  • Every answer carrying the page it came from.
  • VWX will not authenticate a vehicle, and will not share anyone's contact details without their consent.

Where Is It Now?

You sold it. You watched it go. Somewhere out there it is either a barn find, a show car or a memory. The owner registry is our idea for closing that gap: past owners write down what they remember, present owners write down what they have, and the two find each other only if both agree.
